1. Introduction

TurboEV LLC ("TurboEV", "we", "us", or "our") owns and operates TurboEV.ai and all associated digital services (the "Services"), including the Roxy AI eligibility assistant; discovery and eligibility assessment for EV-ownership incentives and savings across vehicle, home-charger (EVSE), electrical-panel, utility rate-plan, and managed-charging programs (one-time rebates and recurring annual savings); the paid Rebate Hub; incentive monitoring alerts; user notifications; and related offerings. This Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, disclose, retain, safeguard, and otherwise process your personal information when you use the Services.

By accessing, registering for, or using the Services, you affirm you have read, understood, and consent to the data practices described here.

2. Scope of Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected through the TurboEV.ai website, the Roxy AI tool, customer support tickets, user emails, platform push notifications, payment checkout, and all direct or indirect interactions with TurboEV's platform and support channels.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal and non-personal information:

Contact identifiers: Full legal name, email address
Geographic data: ZIP code, residential city and U.S. state
Vehicle metadata: Vehicle year, make, model, purchase/lease type, acquisition date, official state vehicle registration details
Household, property & eligibility data: Annual household income bracket, prior EV rebate application/award records, home ownership status (own or rent), home EV-charging setup, electrical-panel information, and current electric-utility rate plan (used to determine eligibility for vehicle, charger, panel, and rate-plan incentives)
Vehicle usage: Approximate annual mileage (used to estimate rate-plan and charging-related savings)
Prospective-purchase & purchase-intent data (users considering an EV): the vehicle(s) under consideration, expected purchase price and timing, and intended disposition of a current vehicle (keep, sell, trade, or retire), used to estimate pre-purchase incentives and generate the pre-purchase advisory. This is first-party data and is not shared with dealers, installers, or other third parties.
User communications: Support correspondence, questionnaire responses, chat logs, user-submitted service requests
Account activity: Login history, saved preferences, saved incentive searches and draft application materials
Payment & transaction details: Invoicing reference IDs, transaction dates, service tier. Full card PAN, CVV and banking credentials are processed and stored exclusively by Stripe; TurboEV never retains complete payment card data and stores only limited non-PCI-scope transactional metadata required for order reconciliation.
Technical device data: Public IP address, browser type/version, unique device identifiers, cookies, session logs, usage analytics.

All payment processing is governed separately by Stripe's Privacy Policy and PCI DSS standards.

4. Information Collected Through Roxy AI Assistant

Roxy collects personal data you voluntarily submit during eligibility screenings, conversational Q&A, intake questionnaires, and assessment flows, used solely to generate personalized eligibility evaluations, projected EV incentive values, program recommendations, preparation materials, and subscribed monitoring alerts. No Roxy-submitted data is used for unrelated third-party marketing absent explicit separate consent.

5. How We Use Collected Information

Your personal data is used exclusively for the following business purposes:

Deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
Generate personalized eligibility analyses, application checklists, and paid preparation materials;
Complete order validation, payment reconciliation, and fulfillment of purchased packages;
Administer subscribed monitoring and scheduled notifications;
Send optional EV-ownership tips, product updates and new-rebate alerts to users who opt in, and manage those preferences (you may unsubscribe at any time);
Respond to support inquiries, resolve account disputes, and address complaints;
Run anonymized performance analytics, product optimization, and user-experience improvements;
Detect, investigate, and mitigate fraud, account abuse, and cybersecurity threats;
Satisfy applicable federal, state, and local U.S. legal, tax, and regulatory obligations;
Enforce our Terms of Service and any active user agreements.

6. AI and Automated Processing Disclaimer

TurboEV uses proprietary eligibility engines, AI, machine-learning algorithms, and licensed third-party incentive databases to generate program estimates, eligibility explanations, recommendations, and preparation materials. These automated outputs regularly contain calculation errors, outdated program rules, omitted criteria, or assumptions drawn from external databases outside our control.

Roxy is powered by Anthropic's Claude large language models. Information you provide to Roxy is processed by Anthropic, Inc. as TurboEV's contracted service provider (subprocessor), solely to generate your eligibility assessment and preparation materials. Anthropic does not use your inputs to train its models and processes them under its own commercial terms in addition to this Policy.

Mandatory User Obligation: All users must independently verify AI-generated incentive and eligibility information directly with the relevant state and federal incentive authorities before submitting formal applications; TurboEV is not liable for financial losses from sole reliance on unvalidated automated outputs.

7. Monitoring Services Terms & Opt-In Rules

Users who opt into complimentary incentive monitoring alerts receive automated notifications about newly launched funding, deadline reminders, eligibility rule changes, and EV rebate updates. Users may opt out of all alerts or unsubscribe from specific incentive categories at any time via account settings or the unsubscribe links in alert emails. Monitoring content is informational only, and TurboEV does not warrant discovery of every local, state or federal EV incentive program.

8. Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

TurboEV uses HTTP cookies, tracking pixels, HTML local storage, scripting tags, and comparable browser tools to sustain user sessions, save preferences, optimize site functionality, measure performance, detect fraudulent access, and support permitted targeted advertising.

You may modify or disable cookies in your browser settings; full deactivation can restrict core platform features, including eligibility-form saving and Roxy chat. You may also opt out of third-party ad-targeting cookies via the U.S. Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portals where applicable.

9. Analytics and Third-Party Advertising Technologies

TurboEV uses PostHog (product analytics - personal identifiers are removed or hashed before data reaches PostHog) and Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic, understand platform usage, and identify areas for improvement. These vendors process usage and device data under their own terms. TurboEV does not currently run third-party advertising or conversion-tracking pixels (such as Google Ads or the LinkedIn Insight Tag). If we add advertising or conversion measurement in the future, we will update this Policy and provide an opt-out where required by law.

We use aggregated, partially anonymized analytics data to measure marketing performance, identify improvement opportunities, and refine outreach; no raw identifiable personal data is sold to advertising partners for standalone resale.

10. How We Share Your Personal Information

TurboEV discloses personal user data to third parties only in these limited circumstances:

Contracted service vendors providing platform hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, email delivery, customer support, cybersecurity, and payment processing; vendors receive only the minimum data reasonably required to perform their services and are contractually bound to comply with applicable US privacy laws.
Required legal disclosure: in response to a valid subpoena, regulatory inquiry or law enforcement request; or where reasonably necessary to defend TurboEV's legal rights, the personal safety of users or third parties, company property and contractual interests.
Retained legal, tax or financial advisors on a confidential basis for corporate compliance.
AI service provider (Anthropic). Conversational inputs you provide to Roxy are processed by Anthropic, Inc. as our subprocessor solely to generate your assessment and preparation materials (see Section 6).
Error monitoring (Sentry). To monitor platform health, diagnose crashes, and improve performance, we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to collect error logs and diagnostic data when errors occur. Diagnostic payloads are redacted to remove personal identifiers (such as addresses, income, and VINs) before transmission. Sentry retains stored error data for a maximum of 90 days.

10A. Future Marketplace or Referral Services

If TurboEV introduces a marketplace or referral service connecting you to third-party providers (for example, home-charger installation), sharing your personal information with those providers will require your separate, affirmative opt-in consent. TurboEV will update this Privacy Policy and provide clear disclosure before any such data sharing begins, including the categories of information shared, the identity of the receiving parties, and the purpose of the sharing. Any affiliate, referral, or lead-generation relationship will be disclosed per FTC guidelines. This Section does not create any obligation to introduce any particular service.

11. Business Transfer Provisions

If TurboEV undergoes a full or partial merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy liquidation, or business asset sale, stored user personal information may transfer to the successor entity, consistent with applicable privacy law. Where legally required, TurboEV will provide reasonable advance notice to affected users before their data transfers to a new controlling entity.

12. No Monetary Sale of Personal Data

TurboEV does not sell your identifiable personal information to third parties for monetary compensation. Certain targeted-advertising and anonymized-analytics activities may qualify as "sharing" under the California CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy statutes; eligible users retain statutory opt-out rights where required by applicable law.

Your Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. To the extent any targeted-advertising or analytics activity described in Sections 8 and 9 qualifies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA or comparable state laws, you have the right to opt out. You may exercise this right at any time by: (a) using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer; (b) adjusting your cookie and tracking preferences; or (c) emailing legal@turboev.ai. TurboEV also honors browser opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.

We recognize and automatically honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), to block third-party analytics and tracking technologies. When our system detects a GPC signal from your browser, it will automatically opt you out of the 'sharing' of your personal information (specifically browser tracking cookies and telemetry transmitted to Google Analytics 4) for cross-context behavioral analytics or marketing.

13. Data Retention Standards

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill service agreements, complete paid services, maintain required accounting records, prevent fraud, satisfy federal and state legal retention requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce contractual terms. Retention periods vary by data category and legal requirements; once they expire, personal data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

14. Data Security Safeguards

TurboEV implements industry-standard, commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including end-to-end encryption and internal access controls, to protect stored personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, accidental deletion, or unlawful disclosure. No method of internet storage or transmission is fully secure, and TurboEV disclaims all absolute security warranties to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Your User Choice & Opt-Out Controls

Users may unsubscribe from non-essential promotional emails via the footer unsubscribe links or their online account dashboard, update stored contact details, and submit statutory privacy requests where allowed by governing state law.

How to exercise your rights. To submit a privacy request (access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or opt-out of sale/sharing), email legal@turboev.ai with your request and the email address associated with your account. We take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Exception: Critical transactional emails (e.g., purchase confirmations, monitoring status updates, account security alerts) are required to deliver core services and cannot be fully opted out of. Certain core eligibility functionality requires retention of key user and vehicle data, and partial deletion may disable subscribed services.

16. California Resident Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA Compliance)

California residents have statutory privacy rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to: know the categories of personal data collected; access their stored records; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of eligible data; and learn the categories of third parties to whom their personal data is disclosed. TurboEV responds to verified California requests within the statutory 45-day window, extendable by an additional 45 calendar days for complex requests per CCPA rules.

California users may appoint an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf consistent with California law; TurboEV applies reasonable identity verification before processing requests to prevent fraudulent requests.

17. Other U.S. State Resident Privacy Rights

Residents of US states with comprehensive privacy legislation (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon) have rights to access, correct, permanently delete, and receive portable copies of their personal data, to appeal adverse privacy-request decisions, and to opt out of regulated targeted advertising and data sharing as defined under their respective state statutes. TurboEV processes verified out-of-state requests following each state's statutory response timelines and rules.

18. Do Not Track (DNT) Browser Signals

No uniform federal or industry standard currently governs web browser "Do Not Track" signals, so TurboEV does not modify its data collection practices in response to them unless future binding federal or state law requires it.

19. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliant)

TurboEV's platform and services are intended for adults aged 18 or older researching United States EV incentive programs. Our Services are not designed to attract or market to anyone under age 13, and TurboEV does not knowingly collect or store personally identifiable information from children under 13 per US COPPA regulations. If we inadvertently receive verified child personal data, we will immediately and securely erase such records upon user or parent notification.

20. International Non-US Users

TurboEV's audience is within the United States. Personal information submitted by non-US users is processed and stored primarily within the United States and may also be processed at third-party vendor locations outside your country. US federal and state data-protection laws differ substantially from international frameworks such as the GDPR, and your personal data will be governed under applicable US legal standards once submitted.

21. Privacy Policy Modification & Updates

TurboEV may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect regulatory changes, platform updates, or revised data-processing practices. Updated versions are published on the TurboEV.ai homepage with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Services after publication constitutes acceptance where permissible under applicable US law.
